Michael Chatfield is a Canadian Army veteran and international bestselling author who writes the kind of books he always wanted to read, characterdriven, gritty, tactical, and grounded in reality. He will be joined by author Joedan Worley: Joe was born with two legs, so he gave one away to charity (...or to the Marine Corps as a Navy Corpsman. Semper Fidelis). Joe now lives in Georgia with a way-too-big family, where he loves working, public speaking, and fundraising for veteran-focused nonprofits. He also writes, narrates, and sings to anyone within aggro radius.

Step into the shadows at The Raven for an interactive Murder Mystery Night where secrets lurk behind every conversation and every guest becomes part of the investigation. This is not a sit-back-and-watch experience — you are the detective.

Your ticket includes a selection of small plates and one complimentary drink ticket. Additional drinks will be available for purchase from our full bar throughout the evening, and the bookstore will remain open if you'd like to browse books and Raven treasures between clues.

Doors open at 6:00 PM, for mingling and drinks. The mystery itself will begin promptly at 6:30 PM, and we encourage guests to arrive early so you don't miss important introductions and opening details.

Throughout the evening, actors will bring the story to life through live scenes and unfolding twists. Between story moments, you'll have time to roam, mingle, question suspects, gather clues, and piece together the mystery for yourself. This is a highly interactive experience and is best suited for guests who enjoy engaging with others and jumping into the fun.

At the end of the night, detectives will cast their votes before the final reveal plays out and the truth is brought to light.

Jenn Bouchard is the award-winning author of PALMS ON THE CAPE, CONSIDERING US, and FIRST COURSE, as well as several published short stories. She has been teaching high school social studies for twenty-six years and also teaches short story classes to adults in her community. She is an avid cook, volunteer for good causes, and devoted Red Sox fan. A graduate of Bates College and Tufts University, she lives in the Boston suburbs with her husband and two teenage children.
