Michelle Khonsari- Book Signing

Michelle Khonsari’s The Ravencrest Murders draws readers into a quiet town where nothing stays buried for long—where a missed produce pickup is the most exciting call into a two-person sheriff’s office, the town secretary handles dispatch, and nearly everyone has some connection to the victims. As Scarlett Moyer follows a trail of bodies tied to the abandoned Ravencrest Asylum, each lead opens into something more complicated than it first appears. Haunted by her own past, Scarlett struggles to separate her instincts as a detective from a history of trusting the wrong people, adding a personal edge to an already tightening investigation.

S.K. Bickel-Book Launch

Author Bio:

“S.K. Bickel, better known as Savannah, is an author based out of Nashville, Tennessee. Her debut novel, DOUSED KINDLING, is the first in an interconnected contemporary romance series that focuses on real life relationships and the importance of holding them dear, no matter the cost. She currently resides in Nashville with her husband, dog, and soon-to-be baby boy. Her family, as well as the community that surrounds and supports her, are the very reasons she created this world. The characters and stories are reflections of the themes that she believes make people, people.Love. Passion. Heartbreak. Trust. Forgiveness. It’s why she writes. Formerly a songwriter in the country music scene, Savannah’s writing incorporates the poetic flow of music as well as the emphasis on storytelling that remains the foundation of the country music genre.

Outside of writing the scenes her growing reader base loves so much, Savannah spends her time running her favorite greenway, cooking with her husband, and visiting family in the South Carolina town that inspired Sinker Avenue and the chaos that ensued. Her heart beats for those she loves, and that sincerity comes through on paper in the lives of the characters she writes. She is thrilled to release her debut novel into the world. And she hopes her words leap off the page and mean as much to someone else as they have to her.”

Skip the Small Talk

Do you wish you could have more of the kinds of conversations you have late at night where for some reason, you feel safe talking about the things you actually care about?

Bring your friends (or come by yourself) and spend your Thursday night at an event where you know everyone else is there for the same reason.

We'll be offering "big talk" conversational prompts on them to get you started, and we'll have lots of structure to make sure that you actually talk to people and that it's not awkward. Not feeling like answering a particular question? No worries, we'll have plenty to choose from, like, "When are you the happiest?" and, "If you were going to become close friends with me, what would I need to know about you?" We'll give you ground rules to make sure you feel comfortable and safe sharing as much of yourself as possible while still feeling in complete control of how much you divulge.

There will be food and drinks for sale!

Check-in for this event will begin around 6:45 pm. Please do your best to arrive before 7:00 pm so we can begin as close to on time as possible.
